Keith is a highly motivated, enthusiastic engineer and forensic analyst (engineering). He has 30 years’ consultancy experience in the construction industry, both within the UK and the Middle East.
Keith was appointed PSA/MOD Ministerial advisor on the National expansion, refurbishment support program where he headed the ‘Design Evaluation Team’ (DET) responsible for the review, agreement on design solutions for this voluminous nationwide program. He was the mechanical and engineering consultant to the National satellite stations.
Engineering solutions have ranged, from specialist environmental conditioning, to integrated engineering systems, from power generation, sub-station technology, transmission lines, power transformation and distribution facilities to the construction, gas, and petroleum industries.
Keith sits on the IMC’s Professional Registration Board, and audits corporate training. He is a ECUK trained mentor, and has produced numerous technical articles/papers published in engineering editorials and journals.
While most of his work has involved the investigation of mechanical and engineering systems failure, Keith’s engineering expertise has been used in cases where he has investigated specialist controls systems, cable failures, switchgear faults, power failures, and standards compliance.
Keith has presented expert evidence in court. In addition, following the introduction of the new Civil Procedure Rules in 1999, Keith has been appointed as a Single Joint Expert in accordance with Part 35 of the CPR.
