Dr John Lancaster is a chartered mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience spanning roles from a full mechanical apprenticeship, design engineering, project management, project controls, planning, general management, and delay analysis including provision of testifying expert witness services.

John has extensive experience in Oil & Gas, which extends from Exploration Drilling, Offshore Field Development, Onshore LNG facilities, LPG Plants, Refineries, Onshore and Offshore Pipelines (Fabrication and Installation), Storage facilities, Semi-Submersible FPS, Jack-Ups, FPSOs, FLNG etc. and has represented Governmental bodies, International and National Oil Companies, EPCM Contractors, EPC Contractors, and lower tier sub-contractors, in both formal and informal dispute resolution.

His sector experience also extends to cover the mining and metallurgy process sector including: Onshore and Offshore Diamond Mining, Platinum Mining, Ilmenite process and smelting, Coal processing, Aluminium Smelting and Steel Production as well as the power sector where John has worked on Coal fired, Co-Generation and Combined Cycle power stations.

John has lived and worked in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, US and Australia.
