Valia has been appointed as an independent delay expert in UK adjudications and has provided critical path, delay and disruption analyses in numerous arbitration proceedings, as well as in other dispute resolution forums including mediations and DAABs.
She has significant experience across engineering, power and process plants, rail, offshore and oil and gas projects, with particular expertise in the identification and assessment of delay using established methods of delay analysis. Valia is proficient in all major planning software, including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Asta Powerproject.
She is recognised for her rigorous and methodical approach, and for her ability to address technically complex programme issues in a clear and structured manner as her analysis integrates data-driven techniques and technology.
Valia also holds a BEng and MEng in Civil Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc in Project and Enterprise Management from University College London.
