This highly anticipated two-day conference will be the first such conference in Pakistan comprising of panel discussions, an ArbitralWomen roundtable discussion and a training workshop on international arbitration.
Stephen Osuhor, Operational Director from Driver Trett's Dubai office will be joining the panel discussing the relevance and effect of corruption in international arbitration.
Other panel discussion topics include Pakistan’s experience in investment arbitration, dispute resolution under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework, arbitration in Pakistan’s power sector and perspectives from Pakistan’s young international arbitration lawyers.
The United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Regional Center for Asia and the Pacific, the International Court of Arbitration, Singapore International Arbitration Centre, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and the Beijing International Arbitration Center, among others, are supporting this conference. The roster of speakers comprises leading international arbitration practitioners from Pakistan, the U.K., Singapore, Hong Kong, U.A.E., Malaysia and the U.S.
