Construction Claims Dubai – Record Keeping

The 3 R’s (Records, Records, Records)

Diales is delighted to be hosting a CPD event, run in conjunction with the RICS, on The 3 R’s (Records, Records, Records), which will be held on 4th December 2019, at The Design House, Al Sufouh Gardens, Dubai.

Change in construction projects almost always leads to an increase in costs and/or delays to completion. The effects of these are often the source of considerable dispute between the parties which could involve lengthy and expensive proceedings to achieve a resolution. Maintaining detailed and good quality records will assist in the agreement of issues.

Phil Duggan from Diales’ Dubai office will explain the importance and context of the necessary documentation to be collected.

Learning Outcomes:

  • A wider understanding of the various records that can be readily maintained on a project;
  • Understand the interaction between parties in maintaining good records;
  • The significance of record keeping in dispute avoidance;
  • The pitfalls of not having adequate records when faced with formal dispute proceedings.

Location:

B303, The Design House

Al Sufouh Gardens, Dubai
